Description
I create photo stories that I call PhotoStrations. In this image there are over 100 separate photos, selected, isolated, cropped, effects added and combined into one "story".
"As Jacob lovingly nailed together the final boards on his latest birdhouse, he remembered once again that impactful day more than seventy years ago when he held a beautiful, delicate young bird in his hands and watched in total remorse as its life slowly ebbed away into the Infinite, taking a part of himself with it. He shot the bird with the pellet gun his father had given him for his birthday. At first he thought it as fun, frivolously shooting at tin cans and then at birds in trees. But when he actually hit the little bluebird and watched it fall to the ground, it affected him profoundly—so profoundly that he swore he’d try to somehow make up for his immature disrespect for life. He buried the small bird in cigar box at the base of an old tree and carved a symbolic eulogy into its bark in remembrance. Jacob built his first birdhouse at the age of twelve and never stopped. Over many years, he created a sanctuary for birds. And with each new house he hung, he believed that somewhere a bluebird began to sing."
That's my story. Look at this image. What story do YOU see?
